Dr. Erica Mathis
Dr. Erica Mathis is a compassionate and detail-oriented general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused dental care. She was born and raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where she had the dream of becoming a dentist since she was five years old. Dr. Mathis pursued this dream, following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather who were general dentists as well. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Oral Roberts University and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at University Health Lakewood in Kansas City, MO, where she gained additional training in all areas of general dentistry, expanding her clinical expertise.
Dr. Mathis values open communication and takes time to educate her patients, tailoring treatment plans to fit their individual needs and goals. She is passionate about restoring smiles but also is passionate about educating people on how proper dental care can improve one’s overall quality of life.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mathis enjoys being active - playing volleyball, tennis, weight lifting, biking, and hiking! She also loves spending quality time with her friends and family, finding good food and playing games together. Dr. Mathis is also actively involved in serving her church, through kids ministry and leading small groups.
